A look back on the Ham Lake Fire - a WTIP one-hour original feature

In 2007, a massive wildfire sparked to life near the end of the Gunflint Trail. A collection of people along the Gunflint Trail lost their homes. There were businesses that lost equipment and buildings. At the time, it was the largest and costliest wildfire in Minnesota since 1918.

The audio below is an hour-long commemorative feature on the 10 year anniversary of the Ham Lake Fire, with reflections from residents of the Gunflint Trail and others who were directly impacted by the fire.
