Local youth launches her own podcast

Podcasts are audio programs distributed across the world wide web with topics that range from politics to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

Local resident Natalie Poliquin started her own podcast in 2019. Poliquin, who is 10 and a student at Sawtooth Mountain Elementary in Grand Marias, calls her podcast “Natopia.” The episodes focus on sharing stories and conversation with local residents from the North Shore. Poliquin is the host of the podcast, with most episodes being recorded and produced at a small studio that her parents helped her build inside the family’s home.
