Local Cook County School District 166 and Great Expectations school are closed Jan. 7 due to weather conditions. Birch Grove Community School in Tofte is also closed.

In addition, the Cook County Senior Center in Grand Marais and Meals on Wheels are closed today.

First and Second Thrift Store will be closed today as well.

A delayed opening to note: Due to weather, the Grand Marais Public Library will open today at noon.
