Local PHHS director talks shake up at state agency

Minnesota lawmakers are considering reorganizing the state’s Department of Human Services following a series of leadership resignations.
 
After the Minnesota’s Department of Human Services commissioner resigned this week, some state lawmakers are calling for a complete overhaul to the massive agency.
 
Commissioner Tony Lourey and his chief of staff resigned July 15. Two deputy commissioners, Chuck Johnson and Claire Wilson, also resigned but rescinded their decision Wednesday, the Associated Press reports.
