Local officials prepare for summer crowds on the North Shore amid COVID-19 pandemic

Now that Memorial Day weekend has come and gone, it’s likely Cook County and the North Shore will start seeing more people visit the area as more businesses and lodging sites start to reopen. With that in mind, WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs asked Cook County Public Health Supervisor Grace Grinager about what steps local officials are taking that could be viewed as unique when it comes to stopping the spread of COVID-19 compared to other locations or counties in Minnesota.
