Healthcare workers and public health officials in Cook County are asking people to find information about vaccination events and the vaccines, including booster doses, on the local COVID-19 website.

Phone calls to local public health are overwhelming local public health officials at this time as the case count continues to climb in Cook County.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Dr. Kurt Farchmin ahead of the upcoming holiday season about the recent uptick in the case count for COVID-19 in Cook County. Farchmin also made a request of local residents and others interested to visit the COVID-19 website and database.
