Local author talks about the journey to Grand Marais

Local author Rae Poynter is a new arrival to the North Shore. She moved to Grand Marais from a small town in Wisconsin. 

An avid blogger, Poynter recently publisher her first book titled “Meryton High.”

In addition to her writing, Poynter also works at Great Expectations School in Grand Marais.

Poynter stopped by WTIP recently and spoke with Tracy Benson about life and writing on the North Shore.
