Lighthouse Center for Vision Loss to offer technology assistance
The Lighthouse Center for Vision Loss, sometimes known as the Lighthouse for the Blind, is coming to Grand Marais on Wednesday, September 26 to share news of adaptive technology which can be used for a variety of things, not just for those with vision impairment.
Technology representatives of the Lighthouse Center will be at the Grand Marais Public Library at 6 p.m. to share how technology can be used to make daily life easier. The program is geared toward those 55 years and up, but all are welcome to come learn what sort of assistance could be available.
This is the first gathering of what The Lighthouse Center hopes will be an ongoing effort to help seniors finds way to use technology.
