Learning history and craft through toboggans

For the last 18 winters, North House Folk School in Grand Marais has been teaching local elementary school classes all about toboggans. Students learn the process of how to bend wood and make things slide on snow, all the while learning how these simple devices are tied deeply to the history and culture of the area. Will Moore caught up with a class being taught to Great Expectations School children in January.
