Jay Andersen returns to WTIP airwaves to kick off summer member drive

Jay Andersen returned to the WTIP airwaves July 7 to help kick off the 2020 summer membership drive for the community radio station in Grand Marais. Andersen is the former news director at WTIP.

Though he now resides in Mora, Minn., Andersen says he still follows Cook County and North Shore news on a regular basis, including frequent visits to the WTIP website.

Andersen spoke on the phone with WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs on the Daybreak program to kick off the summer membership drive.
