Changes to pharmacy services in Grand Marais continue to be discussed among local residents and some local organizations. During a meeting of the North Shore Health Hospital Board on April 18, the topic of pharmacy services surfaced. This follows the closing of one local pharmacy in recent weeks, as well as a change in ownership at the other pharmacy serving Cook County.

Also discussed during the meeting of the Hospital Board was a potential funding shakeup from St. Paul that could impact the local hospital.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke Hospital Administrator Kimber Wraalstad about the recent meeting of the North Shore Health Board.
