Beth Homa-Style is a former North House intern and professional birch bark weaver and artisan based out of Minneapolis. She teaches classes at North House and the American Swedish Institute on bark weaving, and returns to Cook County in early summer, when the season for harvesting birch trees for their bark is at its peak. Will Moore joined her on a trek through state land up the Cascade River to find trees ready to give their bark. Elliot Noyce, Adam Dettman, and Tim Kraus are also featured in this piece.
