Grand Marais woman survives a near-disastrous snowshoe hike on Cascade River

Valita Bockovich and Gloria Johnson of Grand Marais have established a relationship with the people of the Fountain of Christ School in Haiti. They are preparing for a trip to Haiti, leaving the North Shore on January 29.

This is the second trip for both women and they share some of their thoughts on the experience and their upcoming trip in this interview with WTIP’s Rhonda Silence.
