Former elected official calls tax survey 'embarrassing'

Former Cook County Commissioner and current newspaper columnist Garry Gamble was instrumental in putting together a tax survey that is reportedly being sent to all Cook County property taxpayers. The results of the survey will be published in the Cook County News-Herald.

During a meeting of the Cook County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, Sept. 12, former ISD 166 School Board Member Terry Collins spoke about the tax survey. Collins said the tax survey is skewed and “embarrassing.”
