The DNR is finishing a habitat improvement project on the Kadunce River, with the intent of completing the work by Sept. 11.

During the project a popular hiking trail along the Kadunce was closed, as well as access to the river, including fishing.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Jeff Tillma, a DNR fisheries specialist who was involved with the project.
