A garage and several vehicles were destroyed by fire at Hungry Jack Lake on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Cook County Law Enforcement received a call reporting a fire at the home of Dennis Moen on Hungry Jack Lake just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Gunflint Trail and Maple Hill fire departments were paged. When they arrived on scene the garage was fully engulfed. According to Gunflint Trail Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jim Morrison, tender trucks from Gunflint and Maple Hill departments hauled water from the lake to suppress the fire.

Morrison says the garage and contents are a complete loss. A car, motorcycle and snowmobile were destroyed.
Fire departments were clear of the scene at 9:11 p.m.
