There is an emergency road closure due to water over the road on North Road (County Rd 69) in Hovland this afternoon, October 10.
The closure is 1.5 miles north of Highway 61, on the west end of North Road, approximately 50 feet east of fire No. 4488.

An emergency cross road culvert replacement is under way. The Highway Department expects the work to be done by 6 p.m. tonight.

Motorists are asked to take an alternate route, obey all signage and never attempt to cross a flooded road way.
