Elements of Craft: Black Ash

Elements is a series is produced between WTIP North Shore Community Radio and North House Folk School to promote interest in the folk arts. Each episode takes a look at natural materials of our environment and how they're used to create basic things people need for their lives. This episode involves black ash trees - and how they are pounded and peeled into strips to make heavy-duty and beautiful baskets.
