Electronic composer Wayne Horvitz and "21 Pianos"

Wayne Horvitz is a composer and electronic musician based out of Seattle who recently recieved a grant from the McKNight Foundation to bring a new project called "21 Pianos" to Minnesota. Horvitz will bring a 67-key, out of tune ship's piano around the state to record people playing it freely, then sample the recordings for an electronic album. He'll be bringing his piano to the North Shore and other Minnesota regions this fall.
