The Minnesota House of Representatives wrapped up the 2019 legislative session Saturday, May 25. Their work concluded by approving a new two-year state budget.
Every week during the 2019 session, WTIP spoke with Minnesota District 3A Representative Rob Ecklund to hear the happenings at the Capitol relevant to northern Minnesota and the North Shore.
In his final interview focused on the 2019 session, Ecklund spoke with WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs about accomplishments, challenges and work that carries forward into the next year.
Other topics Ecklund discussed include funding for Cook County Higher Education, funding for the North Shore Hospital and other issues relevant to northern Minnesota.
