Do 'green' products on the market today really make a difference?

We’ve all seen the many ‘green’ products available on the market today—from tote bags to reusable straws to clothing made of recycled plastic bottles. Do they really make a difference, or at some level are they just an excuse to buy more stuff? Stephanie Parker, a freelance environmental writer, just wrote a piece about this for Ensia, the media outlet of the Institute on the Environment at the University of Minnesota.  Stephanie joined Dave on The Roadhouse to tell us more.
