The results from a collaborative steelhead genetics study on Minnesota's North Shore streams and rivers confirmed that hybridization between steelhead and stocked Kamloops rainbow trout is indeed a reality.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Nick Peterson, the DNR’s migratory fish specialist, about the ongoing study and steelhead along the North Shore.
