Discussion continues at both the county, state and federal levels regarding a new tower that will be used to improve communication at the end of the Gunflint Trail. If it moves forward, the tower would likely be built near Seagull Lake.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with U.S. Forest Service Gunflint District Ranger Michael Crotteau and Rena Rogers from Cook County’s management information systems for an update on the proposed communications tower at the end of the Trail on Seagull Lake.
