Dead moose floating in the water on two popular Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness lakes has alarmed a number of visitors in the area recently. 

WTIP's Joe Friedrichs spoke with Michelle Carstensen, the DNR's Wildlife Health Program supervisor, about the dead moose on Horseshoe Lake and the surrounding area.
