Dave and Amy Freeman will release new book during two Grand Marais events

Local adventurers Dave and Amy Freeman have new titles to add to their resumes: authors.

The Freemans' new book is titled “A Year in the Wilderness: Bearing Witness in the Boundary Waters.” The Freemans will do book signings and unveil the book in Grand Marais on its release date Sept. 23.

The two events in Grand Marais Saturday, Sept. 23 featuring Dave and Amy are:

Lake Superior Trading Post from 1 to 3 p.m.

North House Folk School starting at 7:30 p.m. in the blue building.
