There will be a new representative for the West End of the county at the next School District 166 school board meeting. The board needs to fill a vacancy created when board member Jeanne Anderson resigned in October. 

Dan Shirley of Tofte will be appointed to the board at the Jan. 16 meeting.  Rhonda Silence speaks to him about the reasons why he decided to serve.
