As is the case for many Minnesotans, 2020 has proved to be an interesting year for North Shore Health employee Mike Flack.

The lead for the local hospital when it comes to purchasing medical supplies, Flack has navigated limited supplies, shortages of needed equipment and improvised on occasion to makes sure medical personnel at the local hospital had what they needed to work safely and properly through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with Flack about working as the hospital’s supply administrator through a global health crisis.
