County narrows search for health and human services director

Dave Lee, who was hired as director of the Public Health and Human Services Department for St. Louis County in April, has quit the post and is going back to the same position in Carlton County.

Lee was hired for the St. Louis County job after an extensive nationwide search.

Cook County is also in the process of hiring a director of its Health and Human Services Department. Interviews for the local position are taking place this month.  WTIP’s Joe Friedrichs spoke with County Administrator Jeff Cadwell about the opening of the local director for health and humans services and other openings with the county.
