County board votes to not live stream certain meetings

After a lengthy conversation about the process of recording and broadcasting certain segments of their public meetings each month, the Cook County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously on Tuesday, April 18th to record but not live stream their “committee of the whole” discussion periods.

What this means is that the public will have access to information discussed in the open meetings, though it will not be available immediately.
