County board hears local reports on climate change

Cook County residents Olya Wright and George Wilkes discussed potential impacts of climate change on the local level during a meeting of the Cook County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, June 27.

Wright is the founder and member of the Nordic Nature Group, a contingent of young naturalists. Wilkes was representing a local branch of the Citizen’s Climate Lobby.
