Counting down to Rendezvous Days Celebration Powwow

The Rendezvous Days Celebration Powwow will be held Aug. 11, 12 and 13. There is dancing and drumming at the Grand Portage Powwow grounds, with a Princess and Brave contest and a hand drum contest on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, there is a 1- and 3-mile walk/run for all ages. Throughout the weekend, there is a softball tournament, bingo in the Grand Portage Fire Hall, food and craft vendors and more.

Rhonda Silence speaks with Rendezvous Days Powwow committee member Mike Keyport about what visitors can expect at the celebration.
