Cook County students walk out, join national gun violence protest
March 14 marked the one month anniversary of the school shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas School in Parkland, Florida. Local schools in Grand Marais marked the day with demonstrations, silent commemoration, and music.
WTIP was at the local schools Wednesday morning and took photos and recorded some interviews at the events. Students from both ISD 166 and Great Expectations in Grand Marais participated in the scheduled walkout.
