Cook County joins Lake County in response to fatal snowmobile crash

At approximately 5:17 yesterday, March 11, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office dispatch received a call reporting a snowmobile accident five miles east of the Trestle Inn, on the Tomahawk Trail in Finland, Minn.
The victim, a 62 years old male from Ramsey, Minn, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Responding to the crash was the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the Lake County Rescue Squad, Lake County Ambulance, Cook County agencies and MN DNR.
This accident is still under investigation.
