Having a presence at the State Capitol is important to the Cook County Chamber.  Judy Erickson is the Chamber’s government relations consultant. Judy visited the North Shore recently, to give an update on the legislative session that ended just before Memorial Day.

Judy shared news of the outcome for some local projects that were considered at the Capitol—funding for Cook County Higher Education, support of the Britton Peak single-track mountain bike trail, North Shore Health and more.

WTIP also asked Judy what it was like to work in the only divided Congress in the United States.

Here’s Rhonda Silence with more.
