At the last meeting of the board of North Shore Health, members of the Cook County Ambulance squad shared concerns about the on-going shortage of emergency medical technicians (EMTs).

Members of the public who would like more information about becoming an EMT are encouraged to contact Cook County Ambulance Director Steve DuChien at North Shore Health at 218-387-3040.
