WTIP to broadcast Monday night Fire Information Meeting

WTIP will broadcast the Public Fire Information Meeting live from the Gunflint Ranger District Office in Grand Marais at 7 PM, Monday, September 19. The meeting is one of three meetings held in which an update will be, or was, given on the status of the Pagami Creek Fire and fire activities in the East Zone of the Superior National Forest. Presenters will include East Zone Fire officials, representatives form the Cook County Sheriff's Department and the MNICS Incident Management Team. Another meeting is being held at the Schroeder Town Hall at 7 PM, Monday, while a meeting was held at 11 AM, Monday, at the Poplar Lake Fire Hall on the Gunflint Trail.
