Welcome to WTIP’s County Commissioner Primary Candidate Forum. On Thursday, July 26 we heard from candidates seeking the Commissioner District 4 seat. 

The commissioner primary is Tuesday, August 14 and three District 4 residents are vying for a spot on the November ballot. They are:
•    Gail Anderson, Rick Austin and Heidi Doo-Kirk. Current District 4 Commissioner Jim Johnson is not seeking re-election.

WTIP’s Jay Andersen and Rhonda Silence, editor of the Cook County News-Herald asked the questions, with many also called in from listeners.
