Travis Novitsky is a life-long resident of the north shore of Lake Superior. He was born in Grand Marais and resides in Grand Portage, where he has lived his entire life. He is an enrolled member of the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Travis works for the Minnesota State Parks system at Grand Portage State Park and is also a photographer who loves photographing Lake Superior and the Minnesota Northwoods.
