Traffic on London Road in Duluth to be detoured on July 19

Southbound London Road in Duluth will be closed between 40^th Avenue East and 21^st Avenue East on Monday, July 19, from 9a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Crews will be installing pavement as part of the Duluth Interstate 35 Mega Project. Traffic will be detoured on to Superior Street.

The closure/detour will happen again during the same time frame on Thursday, July 22.
 

The pavement installation is part of the reconfiguration of the I-35 northbound exit on to London Road at 26^th Avenue East. This remodeled intersection will result in a sharper turn on to London Road as a speed reduction measure to improve traffic safety on residential London Road.
