Public Fire Meetings to be Held
Public meetings are scheduled for Monday, September 19, 2011
They will be held in the following locations and times:
Poplar Lake Fire Hall, 11 AM
Grand Marais, Gunflint Ranger Station, 7 PM
Schroeder, Town Hall, 7 PM.
WTIP will broadcast the meeting at the Gunflint Ranger Station in Grand Marais, starting at 7 PM.
An update will be given on the status of the Pagami fire and fire activities on the east zone of the Superior National Forest. Presenters will include fire officials from the east zone, Cook County Sherriff’s office and the MNICS Incident Management Team.
