At 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, a special art show opens at the Johnson Heritage Post in Grand Marais and runs to Jan. 2. The show is the creation of art students at ISD166 – from elementary through high school. The show grew out of conversations between art teacher Mary MacDonald and Joann Krause of the JHP.

Mary MacDonald tells you all about the how the show came about and the students talk about their art. The interviews were done by Hayden Goettl, Bailey Morrison, Kayla Stacy, Molly Zafft, Danny Lunde and teacher Michael McHugh.

The interviews begin with art teacher Mary MacDonald…
