Sivertson Gallery is hosting ‘Do You Raku? We Do!’ on Saturday October 4th from 10am to 3pm.  WTIP volunteer Mary Manning spoke with C.J. Heithoff of the Gallery on North Shore Morning.

Do You Raku? We Do!
 
Saturday 4th of October, 2014
Learn the secrets of a raku glaze and fire with ceramic artists Richard Gruchella and Carrin Rosetti. Buy a bowl to glaze yourself and Richard will fire it on the spot! This annual event takes place in Grand Marais on Saturday, October 4th from 10 am to 3 pm!
 
“Do you Raku” takes place during the North Shore’s “Crossing Borders Studio Tour.” This event offers a unique opportunity for folks to learn about artists’ processes and how their environment influences their aesthetic decisions.
