On Thursday afternoon, Dec. 15, shots were fired in the Cook County Courthouse and two people received multiple wounds. An ensuing struggle took place, the perpetrator was subdued and today both the shooting victims and the community are healing.

On Wednesday, Dec. 21, Sheriff Mark Falk talked about the incident with WTIP news reporter Jay Andersen and station manager Deb Benedict on the AM Community Calendar program.
