During Wednesday morning’s “Daybreak” program Minnesota’s US Senator Al Franken weighed in on the extension of unemployment benefits and health care reform legislation, both top issues on the Senate’s agenda. Franken also addressed what he sees as problems with the No Child Left Behind program in some northern Minnesota Native American schools. Franken spoke with WTIP’s Jay Andersen and Roger Linehan.
