Sen. Franken: Cook County earners could lose $900 if payroll tax extension fails

The US House as already acted on a payroll tax extension. The Senate will take it up soon, but there’s really no agreement between political parties on what the final package should look like.  If Congress fails to pass the extension, it could hurt local pocketbooks.
