Seasonal flu shot clinics are scheduled

Sawtooth Mountain Clinic begins a schedule of three weeks of flu shots this week. On Sept. 30 shots for adults 18 and over are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 5 to 7 p.m. in the lower level of the clinic.
Three flu shot clinics are scheduled for the first full week of October. On Monday, Oct. 4, adults 18 and over can receive their shots in the clinic lower level, 4 to 6 p.m. On Tuesday, Oct. 5 the clinic moves to the West End at MoonDance Coffee Shop from 8:30 to 10 a.m. for adults 18 and over. Later in the day, a special clinic for anyone over age 3 will be held at Birch Grove Clinic from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
Because of free vaccine made available for school children, two special clinics will be held for youth ages 3 to 18 and school staff in the clinic lower level, Thursday, Oct. 7 from 3 to 6:30 p.m. and on Monday the 18th from 3 to 6:30 p.m.
The final clinic will be held in the Sawtooth lower level, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 19 for adults 18 and over. All shots contain vaccine for two seasonal flu viruses as well as the H1N1 variety.
