The state government shut down on Friday, July 1. WTIP’s Jay Andersen spoke with District 6-A Rep. David Dill that morning on “Daybreak.” Dill talked about last minute proposals that failed as well as tax fairness or equity. Even though the shutdown started at midnight, Dill said it had not been a long night for him.
