6 AM – “Celtic Connections” – Host Bryan Kelso Crow brings you great music from European nations with a Celtic past. He plays the finest selections from new releases as well as from Celtic classics.
7 AM – “Voices From The Circle” – Hosts Jim DeNomie and Barbara Jersey share traditional & contemporary Native American music, storytelling, and much more.
8 AM – “The Gospel Truth” – Host Doug Seim brings you gospel music that goes back to its roots and brings you up to the present day. A show for religious and secular folks alike!
10 AM – “West Coast Live”– This two-hour variety show is hosted by Sedge Thompson. His program engages novelists, filmmakers, comedians, actors, and poets to talk about the cultural forces they are creating, and the source of their inspiration.
12 PM – “The Vinyl Cafe”– This hour-long radio drama and variety show is hosted by Stuart McLean, who is known throughout Canada for his stories about Dave, owner of The Vinyl Café record store. The show also features musical performances and slice-of-life stories from listeners.
1 PM – “Radiolab”– Hosts Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich explore big ideas in science (and beyond) through conversation, storytelling and sound.
2 PM – “Women in Music” –WTIP Host Casey Fitchett bring you two hours of music written or performed by women throughout the world.
4 PM—“Swing Session”— WTIP Host Bill Burkhardt brings you an hour of Swing music from the Big Band Era.
5 PM – “Polka Time” –Join WTIP Host Rainbow Trout for an hour of traditional and contemporary polka and related music from regional and national bands.
6 PM – “Classic Country” –WTIP Host Rainbow Trout brings you a wide variety of country music from all eras and genres, including bluegrass, gospel, mountain music, 70's country and much more.
9 PM—“Sounds of the Spirit”— WTIP Host BJ Muus plays sacred and reflective music, including “Sing for Joy,” a half-hour of Christian music from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
10:30 PM—“String Theory”—On this locally-produced program, WTIP’s Bob Martin takes you through chamber music in a chronological order from some of the earliest to some of the latest.
12:30 AM– “UnderCurrents” –Gregg McVicar is back with seven hours of “American Music With A Passport,” spinning your past and future favorites in rock, blues, folk, Native, Americana, funk, reggae and more.
