MCAD instructor and printmaker Mary Leikvold will be teaching at the Grand Marais Art Colony May 29th through June 1st.  North Shore Morning host Mary Manning finds out more in this interview.

Printmaking Intensive: Seeing Possibilities
This opportunity is for painters and printmakers who want to reflect and explore new possibilities and directions while having fun in a community setting. The format will include demonstrations, group and individual discussions, and dedicated work time. Students will focus on monotypes—a “painterly” printmaking process – and relief printmaking using linoleum blocks.
This class is offered through a partnership between the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and the Grand Marais Art Colony (387-2737).
