'Perennials In Your Garden' workshops offered on June 6
If you’d like to learn more about the wonderful perennial flowers that will grow in Cook County, there are June workshops that can help. WTIP volunteer Randy Eastlund spoke with Diane Booth and Maxine Linehan on North Shore Morning.

Saturday, June 6th
9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. -- Pesticides & Perennials
10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. -- Designing with Perennials
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. -- Perennials for Zones 3 & 4
Lunch is from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Pre-register by May 29th to reserve a lunch)
You can choose one afternoon session that runs from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.:
--Native Perennials in Your Landscape : Learn about native perennials and start some to take home with you.
--Make & Take a Container Planting Using Perennials: Demonstration on incorporating perennials into your container. Make and take 12 container with plantings.
--Information and Demos on Splitting Tubers, Bulbs, Perennials: You will learn how to divide these perennials and take some home with you.
